I checked my Vassar mail today and I got an email from a group of guys who have a web site called (you guessed it) Soup Gang Who would've thunk it? We went to their site and they said that they had been trying to reach us for quite a long time and so we went to Blogger but they hadn't posted comments. Apparently they skipped right over to the Picture Page and they posted a whole screen of comments! We're their "female counterparts". They seem...interesting. We're guessing that they're still in high school. So, yeah, that's a little kooky. Gina got very excited because one of them likes JTHM and Invader Zim, it was really quite cute. She's at class at right now probably getting bombarded by Palm Tree Head. (Maybe it has a static charge? Who knows? Magical powers inside the palm tree? It should be illegal) Meera and I posted a comment on their website. We'll see if they respond.
Last Night at the Library
(Meera lays down on top of a table)
Rocio: Miss Kannan, Vassar College frowns upon that type of behavior.
Meera: Tell Vassar College to suck it, and suck it long.
Meera: Ever realize that these cubicles resemble a mental hospital?
(Written inside my cubicle)
"Oh Lord, help me"
(Meera's rummaging through Eri's bookbag)
Eri: I don't have anything!
Meera: A-HA!
(pulls out a handful of plastic utensils)
Eri: No!
Meera: These are illegal! You stole them!
Eri: I didn't steal them!
Meera: I'm going to have to take them.
(She then spent the next ten minutes throwing plastic spoons at us from her cubicle)

"My toof hurds...Ow. Does anyone have aspirin if you're awake? Anyone? Anyone?"
She's making me green tea!! Yey! With the leaves and all! Isn't that cool! I'm excited. Tea is very soothing. I need something soothing right now.
"I like the Tazo logo."
I feel anxious...I need tea...tea is gooooood.

You guys are wonderful...you are all great friends and I miss you all so much!! Meeka, I'm doing my best to be able to make things better before I head on back to school, but to tell you the truth, things aren't going all that well. So...um...yeah.
I read like 5 more pages of LOTR...somehow I get very very easily distracted, haha. Daydream believer...
I'll leave you guys with a cool lyric from an Eve 6 song to ponder: "It's sickening how comforting the privacy of the mind can be"

In other news, I made a White Plains picture page. It's fun, it's not totally done yet, but here's the link: Ro's WhiNY picture page
As far as my LOTR reading is going...uh...they're still trying to get away from the Shire. Yeah, I haven't done much reading...oops. hehe. Argh, I have an orthodontist appointment tomorrow. Poo. Tis okey, I'll have time to get Frodo and company out of the Shire, hehe.

You are the most universal mythical beast ever. Sightings of the unicorn have been reported from all over the world, even in these modern times. Unicorns are pure and incurruptible. In China, unicorns symbolised gentleness, good will, and wisdom. Christianity links the unicorn with Christ. It is said that unicorns would only allow virgin girls to see them, let alone touch them. They were easily lured into fatal ambushes by a virgin with some potchers waiting for the unicorn in nearby bushes. A unicorn's horn was a highly prised possesion, which was reputed to have great healing capabilities. With the touch of its horn, a unicorn could bring back a person who had been dead for several hours. But when disattached from the unicorn's body, the magic was suggnificantly reduced and could only protect against poison. The unicorn had the body of a horse, a unique spirling horn, and a lion's tail. They were pure white in color. Congradulations, you are a rarity amoung mythical beasts. There aren't enough of people like you in the world.
What mythical beast best represents you? Take the quiz!
Oh, I started reading the Fellowship of the Ring. I got the huge volume with all three books in it, so it's pretty hefty reading. The movie's so different from the book, I had no idea. But it's pretty interesting anyway.
You guys....I think I'm going to be okay. Ro is back in a good state of mind. She hates all men, mind you (and she's speaking in the third person), but she'll be okay.

I spent practically the entire day yesterday with Julie and it was so great. We did the most random things - we went to Kmart to buy her a coffeepot, went to Borders, went to a hockey game (I'll explain), had pizza (oh, how I missed actual pizzeria pizza), went to her house and then came to mine and hung out until past midnight. It was so much fun!
So that hockey game - uh, Jon was filming it. It was a WPHS hockey game and so since we were sorta kinda maybe in the neighborhood Julie and I went to it for the last 8 minutes. I swear, it was just to see our friend Mike who had cousins playing on both teams...I swear ::shifty-eyed look:: Alright, fine, it wasn't. We actually sat in the parking lot of Borders and debated it for a while before the car sorta steered itself in the direction of the ice skating rink. So Julie and I ended up standing two rows above Jon and then we walked uberslow with the crowd because I wasn't sure if I wanted to say hello. Well, I did. But...I didn't. So...yeah. So I did. And it was awkward. It really was. He dropped his equipment, hugged me and then told me he'd be right back because he had to put it away and then he came back like five minutes later and we chatted. It almost hurt the way things were so strained, but if anything, it goes to show that maybe it is possible for us to be friendly...I guess. At least he came back. He could've just told me he had to go and put the camera away and leave. So...that's something, right? We can be friends. I want to be friends. Friends are good. I liiike my friends! I miiiiiss my friends!

You guys...I'm absolutely miserable right now. Basically, the Tomato told me that it's "too weird" being friends with me and that it's not possible. We have "absolutely nothing in common, we live in two different worlds with two different lives" and that there is no point in him making an effort to see me. Great. Jab the knife in my heart a little further. Go ahead, make my day. He doesn't need to keep reminding me that we're not going out - I know, believe me, I know! Blah. I'm so over and done with with guys. I said with twice in a row. That sounds weird. It's like when you say that that. Anywho...
I'm hanging out with my dear friend Julie today. I'm really happy. I haven't seen her yet since I came home because she was in Florida and she leaves for January term at Colby on Sunday so I'm really sad. But at least I'm happy I'll get to spend a lot of nice time with her. Yey! I could SO use some great fun right now. So have a great day all!

Happy New Year all! I hope you guys had a great time. Eri, it sounds like you're having a great time. I'm so jealous. I want to go to China and Japan. Next time you should take us all with you. We can fit in your suitcase, I mean, we're used to living in really cramped quarters anyway! Wouldn't that be cool? Think about it, hehe. When you open up your suitcase all of us can pop out like those clowns in the clown cars. Though maybe airport security wouldn't want someone to travel with a suitcase full of people. Hmm. I guess we can bribe them with hot bowls of ramen and cups of tea. That would work, right? Right?
So two nights ago Will hung out with Jon...which is nice, I guess. Except that I still haven't seen Jon because he's been too busy. So...yeah. No call yet. But then again, do any of us really expect it? As Jilli said, he never called me when we were going out so now that we're not together why would he? Poo on everything.
We should all (or at least those of us who live in the tri-state region) try to meet sometime over vacation. It would be really really nice if we could all meet in the city or something. Maybe crash Gina's house, heehee. And meet Heifer! Err..Pepper! Heehee ::giggles:: Let's!!!
